Welcome to Fairview Elementary. Our 2012-13 school theme is “Focused on the Future!” and this is reflected in everything we do with students. We are a K-6 Title 1 School with 300+ students in twelve classrooms. Located in the heart of downtown Klamath Falls, Fairview is focused on the following areas:
1. Academic growth of every student in school.
2. Health and wellness of students and staff through “eating better and moving more”.
3. Supportive relationships and communication with families.
4. Building strong community partnerships.
5. Focused attention on the goal of graduating from high school.
Built in 1920, Fairview Elementary is the centerpiece of the Fairview neighborhood. Our mascot is the Falcon and our colors are Green and Yellow. We have received state and national recognition for our efforts in becoming a “healthy school” and will continue to emphasize this with students and families this year.
Student services and activities include: Self-Manager Program, Student Council, Band and Orchestra, General Choral Music, Daily P.E., Character Education, two computer tech labs, Walk to School Days, numerous field trips, Artist-in-Residence Program, and cultural and science assemblies!
