DAILY ANNOUNCEMENTS

Any boys interested in Mr. Pelican, please go to Mrs. Mateos’s room and pick up an application. It must be emailed to Mrs. Mateos by Wednesday, Nov.5th . For more information, look on the board in Mrs. Mateos’s room or see Morgan Powell.

Girls soccer play off game against Mazama @ 4 on October 31st. There will be KU convoy starting at 2:30 in the senior parking lot. We will carpool over to the Sports Complex at 3:20! Sho up and help us to SINK the VIKS! Talk to Dykstra about signing up for the convoy!

JUNIORS AND SENIORS: Sign up in the Red Room to take the ASVAB. Seniors will test on Tuesday, November 4th, and Juniors will test on Thursday, November 6th. The test is free to students and will begin at 8:30 in the multi-purpose room. ASVAB is the military entrance exam; however, it can be used as a career search tool for everyone.
There will be NO Century 21st After School Program tonight, Thursday, or Friday of this week due to conferences and no school on Friday.

Students, please remember you are not allowed to hang posters on the walls. There are several bulletin boards throughout the school on which you may hang posters and information sheets. Scotch tape on the walls is never allowed!

October 30th, we will have a half day of school, with school released at noon. Parent conferences will be from 1-8 p.m. TEACHERS WILL BE IN THEIR CLASSROOMS for more accurate conferences with access to grade books and attendance. Also, we will be scheduling appointments for parents during this day. Please be aware that teachers might not be available on a drop-in basis due to a scheduled conference with another parent. Teachers will have their conference schedules posted on their doors and you are welcome to come in and see a teacher on a drop in basis if they are free during that time.
The Klamath Union Spanish Club will be selling Krispy Kreme doughnuts for $10 a dozen at the Dutch Bros. locations on Halloween (Friday) from 7 am to 3:00 pm. Help support our Spanish Club!

Students, please return all overdue library books as soon as possible.

Congratulations to the Pels who will be in a playoff game tomorrow night at 7:00 o’clock against Crook County. If you can’t travel to the game, just keep cheering for our team. Good luck Coach Smith and varsity football!

Parent Conference Schedule
October 29 and 30, 2014

Welcome to October, crisp mornings and beautiful colors, a lovely season.

October Update:

October 24th- No School- End of Q1

October 27-29th Regular bell schedules

October 29th- Parent conferences from 5-9 p.m. on a drop-in basis. TEACHERS WILL BE IN THEIR CLASSROOMS for more accurate conferences with access to grade books and attendance.

Senior Picture Requirements

Requirements: Must be a shot of professional quality head and shoulders only.  No props or hats.  Color or Black and White are fine.  Indoors, or out, as long as the lighting is good.

Due Date is January 31st.  If submitted after 1/31 a $25 late fee will be due.   No senior pictures will be accepted after March 1st.
