Klamath Falls City Schools primary goal is to provide its students with quality educational opportunities and a safe environment in which our students may learn.

Although parents and students have always rated our schools highly for safety,  we have taken many pro-active steps to ensure the continued safety of our students,  now and in the future.

We have involved our staff in a variety of procedures which are state required and prepare them to carry out these procedures in the event of a crisis.

Much time and effort has been spent developing the following areas so our schools may have a safe environment.

OR-OSHA Consultant - Information on the upgrade to the District’s safety program

The District has recently purchased an Indoor Air Quality Monitoring machine. The health and safety of our staff and students is very important to us. In the past we have contracted outside services to do our monitoring. We feel it will be very cost-effective to do our own air monitoring. The monitoring will be done through the Maintenance Department. We will be able to get a hard copy printout within hours of the testing. Some testing results will be able to read on the spot.
