100% of KFC schools will be at a level 3 or higher on the AVID Schoolwide Systems for
Academic Support Structures and Rigorous Instructional Practices Rubric;

Tier I—Core Instruction

Tier II - Work on effective transitions between 5th & 6th grade and 8th to 9th grade.. Work with students who are not on track to graduate.

Tier III—Increased supports for alternative education students.

Strategies Include:

All classroom teachers will use Instructional Best Practices (WICOR) strategies when teacher their students.

Classroom teachers will routinely monitor and adjust their instruction base on ongoing student assessments.

Schools will utilize school-wide assessments three times each year to monitor student progress and determine Tier II and III interventions.

Schools will have systems in place to monitor and adjust instruction for students receiving Tier II, and III interventions.
