Klamath Falls City Schools is inviting the public to view and comment on materials intended to be selected as the new Elementary English Language Arts curriculum beginning in the 2024-2025 school year.
A district committee unanimously selected the materials after rigorous research, consultation with experts and classroom pilots. Materials can be viewed in the Student Services office at the Lucille O'Neal Education Center, 1336 Avalon Street, Klamath Falls, OR 97603.
Materials will be available for viewing the week of April 15-19 from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. during those days.

Dear Klamath Falls City Schools families, the Oregon Department of Education and Oregon Health Authority have come up with a guidance around when a student should stay home sick. Please review the following document as a health guidance for going to school.

We need your input on "What thoughts or questions do you have about EagleRidge High School joining Klamath Falls City Schools as one of its high schools?". To gather your feedback, we're using a tool called ThoughtExchange. All of our voices matter, so your participation is crucial and valued.
You'll be asked to respond to one open-ended question, consider and assign stars to some of the ideas shared by others and learn what's important to the group.
Your thoughts and stars are confidential. You can come back as often as you'd like to participate and, in fact, we ask that you do come back to star some of the new ideas shared since you first participated.

All Klamath Falls City Schools will be closed today, January 10, 2024 due to inclement weather. All district activities are canceled as well.
