Roosevelt Elementary School is turning back the clock and inviting families to dance the night away at its upcoming “Do Wop and Rock Around the Clock Dance Party!” The free, family-friendly event will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Roosevelt Elementary School Auditorium.
Designed for Roosevelt students, staff, and their families, the evening promises classic 1950s fun for all ages. Parents, siblings, grandparents, and friends are all welcome to attend and join in the celebration.
The sock hop–style event will feature great music, dancing, limbo, laughter, and time together as a school community. Guests can also enjoy ice cream sandwiches while making memories on the dance floor. Attendees are encouraged to dress in their best ’50s-inspired outfits, bring a happy heart, and come ready for a fun-filled night.
Best of all, there is no cost to attend, making this event an easy and enjoyable way for families to connect and spend quality time together on a Friday evening.
The “Do Wop and Rock Around the Clock Dance Party” is part of Roosevelt Elementary’s ongoing efforts to create meaningful, inclusive experiences that bring students and families together. Mark your calendars and get ready to twist, jive, and rock around the clock! 🎶🕺💃
