The Title VI Indian Education End of the Year Picnic was put together this past Sunday at Moore Park, celebrating the 2025-2026 school year and honoring all graduates in the program.

Lead Liaison and Project Coordinator, Evan Gallagher, came together with students and parents in the Title VI Indian Education program and recognized students with honor cords they will wear at their graduation, along with a certificate.

Eagle Ridge New Tech High School seniors Salvador Jimenez-Gonzalez and Jaden Schoonover, along with Klamath Union High School seniors Mattie Westlake and Deigo Hutchinson, were recognized by Gallagher.

Jimenez-Gonzalez will study at Klamath Community College next year to become a diesel mechanic and Schoonover, will practice becoming a diesel mechanic as well at Peterson Cat.

Westlake intends on studying in a dental program through Klamath Tribes. Hutchinson will study next year at Portland State University.
