Isa Coffman earns first at districts, girls XC team wins team title as Carter Harmon earns third

Klamath Union cross country soars in Skyline District Championships. Senior Isabela Coffman was the top female runner as she won the 5,000-meter run at 20:53.20. Leona Higgins finished in second place at 21:50.90. Aubrey Syrnyk rounded out the top five finishers and earned fourth place for KU with her time of 22:20.90. The Klamath Union girls cross country team, under head coach Rob Coffman, won the Skyline District championship.

Klamath Union boys cross country was close to making it to the state competition and had strong finishes in the top eight. KU senior Carter Harmon will head to the state competition after he earned third place in the district meet with his time of 17:38.74. Brent Peterson ended in eighth place for KU with his time of 19:02.45.
