KU Digital Media Earns Two First Place Honors in KOBI-TV Super Positive Video Contest

KU Digital Media had two first-place honors in the KOBI-TV Super Positive Video Contest. The two winning commercials were ran during the NFL AFC divisional round matchup between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Jacksonville Jaguars this past Saturday.

Emily and Marion will split the $3,000 scholarship.

Work Hard for Success by Braden Dawson, junior at Klamath Union High School 

This is Braden's first submission for a video contest. Braden is also a talented photographer and is now getting into the video side of media.

Emily entered two projects for the contest. This was her solo effort. Her other, with co-director Marion, won the contest.

Logan has continuously put together comical and creative videos and has become a standout editor.

Work Out Winner by Jude Garlitz, senior at Klamath Union High School

Jude spent months making this stop-motion wonder, along with hundreds and hundreds of individual photos.

The Flower - Be Kind by Staci Chipman, senior at Klamath Union High School

Another project which took many months to finish. Staci drew individual frames for this video, all of which had to be colored by hand.
