Get ready for an evening filled with excitement, laughter, and pride as the Ross Ragland Theater hosts the annual Mr. Pelican Pageant on April 12 at 7 p.m. This eagerly anticipated event will showcase the talents of nine exceptional Klamath Union High School students, promising a spectacle the whole family can enjoy.
The Mr. Pelican Pageant has become a beloved tradition in Klamath Falls, and this year's production promises to be no exception. Audiences can expect to be dazzled by the talents of KUHS's finest young men as they compete for the coveted title of Mr. Pelican. From dazzling performances to hilarious skits, this year's pageant is sure to leave audiences roaring with laughter and buzzing with excitement.
Ticket prices for the event are $15 for adults, $10 for students, seniors, and activemilitary, and children under 10 are free. Purchase your ticket at the Ross Ragland Theater box office, or www.ragland.org.
In addition to providing a night of entertainment, the Mr. Pelican Pageant serves a greater purpose by raising funds for worthy charities and families in the Klamath Falls community. This year, funds raised by the KUHS student leadership class will be donated to Klamath Hospice and Palliative Care's grief camps, Camp Sapling and Camp Evergreen. These camps provide much-needed support and comfort to individuals and families coping with loss in the Klamath Basin and Northern California.
"We are thrilled to support Klamath Hospice and Palliative Care and their important work," said Rhiannon Kerr, KUHS ASB advisor. "By attending the Mr. Pelican Pageant, not only will audiences enjoy a fantastic show, but they will also be contributing to a cause that has a meaningful impact on our community."
